Since he first picked up the fiddle at the age of three, Nashville native Cole Ritter has spent the last two decades honing his live performance as an artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer.
Blending the Nashville Americana staples of upright bass, pedal steel guitar, and dreamy, psychedelic, reverb-drenched electric guitar with a modern indie-pop sensibility. His music has been described as spacey, psychedelic, and slightly trippy, while always still firmly holding on to the classic “Nashville sound”. Cole cites artists such as Leon Bridges, Alabama Shakes, The Civil Wars and Sierra Ferrell as major influences.
Only a couple of years into his career, Cole has already played venues such as Red Rocks and The Greek Theater. He has shared stages with artists such as Margo Price, the Brothers Comatose, Ricky Skaggs, The Band Perry, Solon Holt and many more. He is fresh off his Grand Ole’ Opry debut performing with The War and Treaty. Cole was most notably featured as a special guest performer with Sierra Ferrell at her sold-out Ryman Auditorium Debut.
Cole was also featured on Season 20 of American Idol.
Since signing with MAD Records, Cole has released two singles, and has been gearing up for his debut EP release.
